A note on our art

Degenerate Art is a literary journal inspired by the visual arts. Our street cred therefore rather depends upon us having some good art of our own to show off. We can’t have the other magazines making fun of us.

To that end, each issue of Degenerate Art will borrow liberally from some of the world’s greatest collections of art, but in an entirely ethical manner. We only use images consciously placed in the public domain and free of all known copyright restrictions.

For Issue A, our featured collection is that of the extraordinary Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. We thank our Dutch friends for their wonderful generosity.

You too can access one of the world’s greatest art collections here: https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/rijksstudio
